KFC is attempting to manufacure meatless "chicken" nuggets made from plants .This is to further take advantage of the growing popularity of meat substitutes.It has teamed up with Beyond Meat a vegan food maker to offer meatless nuggets and wings in its US trial run.Burger King recently announced a plant-based Whopper , while Subway has also said it will test plant-based meatballs.
